Forever Two

Vienna Carly Savino was 2.8 years old when she died, but physicians & researchers do not know why.

Her death was categorized as Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), SIDS part 2.

SUDC is a category of death in children/adolescents/teenagers, 1-18 years old, that remains unexplained after a thorough investigation, including an autopsy, medical record review, and death scene investigation. Even her genetic studies did not reveal a cause of death, as part of 4 separate research studies.

To honor our daughter, it has become my passion to educate, raise awareness, and support research of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), ultimately preventing this tragedy from happening to future families. Shockingly, SUDC is scarcely known in the medical community or general public.

Team Vienna 4 SUDC Awareness Inc. (incorporated 1/19/19, 501c3) is our family's nonprofit to increase awareness/education for SUDC world-wide and to support SUDC research, while honoring our sweet Vienna. Team Vienna was incorporated on what should have been Vienna's 4th birthday.
